Getting involved at the right phase is the difference between an IT infrastructure that works for your practice and one that’s been retrofit into a space that wasn’t designed for it.
Blueprint review
Before permits are pulled
We review architectural plans and mark up workstation locations, network closet placement, server room dimensions, and cabling pathways. Changes at this stage cost nothing. Changes after drywall are expensive.
Low-voltage specification
Before framing is closed
We produce a low-voltage cabling spec that your GC's electrical sub or dedicated low-voltage contractor installs. We're on-site to supervise runs that affect imaging equipment placement.
Network & server procurement
6–8 weeks before occupancy
We size and order the firewall, switches, server hardware, and workstations so equipment arrives on time, not after opening day. Lead times on servers and managed switches have extended in recent years.
Infrastructure installation
2–4 weeks before occupancy
Rack build-out, server configuration, switch and firewall installation.
Software staging
1–2 weeks before occupancy
Practice management software installed, licensed, and tested. Imaging sensors calibrated. Digital X-ray acquisition tested from every op. Workstations imaged and named.
Ops-day-one verification
Opening day (and the day before)
We're on-site before your first patient. Every system is verified live, not just tested in isolation. Staff walk through their workflows with IT present. Issues are resolved before they touch a patient.
